High Prairie Outfitters is now offering fully guided Saskatchewan upland bird hunts and upland bird / waterfowl combo hunts in Saskatchewan, Canada.  High Prairie Outfitters is a licensed Saskatchewan Outfitter.  We are also a member of the Saskatchewan Outfitters Association and Saskatchewan Department of Tourism.  High Prairie's "World Class" Saskatchewan upland bird hunts are somewhat of a secret.  We have literally 1200 sq. miles of prairie to hunt Sharp tail grouse, Ruffed grouse and Hungarian Partridge.  You will hunt with expert hunting guides Dave Ciani and Wes Lundell, over their professionally trained Deutsch drahthaars, English pointers, and purebred Labradors.  You are also more than welcome to bring your own dogs to add to the enjoyment of the hunt.  There are a wide variety of open prairie and grassland options that are available to give both pointers and retrievers of all breeds a great workout.  Dave and Wes are also more than happy to assist you in field training and getting young dogs on birds throughout your hunt.

This is an ALL DAY HUNT and limits include 10 ruffed grouse, 3 sharp tail grouse and 8 Hungarian partridge a day.  Be assured that there will be ample opportunity to take a daily limit on this hunt.  You also have the option of upgrading to a waterfowl / upland bird combination hunt as well.  This hunt will include a morning of fast paced field waterfowl hunting and an afternoon spent upland bird hunting or a full day of upland hunting only. You will be the only group in camp if you bring four people or more so we can tailor make your trip.  Just let us know ahead of time so we will have spotters available for waterfowl hunting.  This hunt is specifically managed for combination hunters in mind.

Your accommodations are customized.  You can either stay at our remote lake lodge with the waterfowl/ upland bird combo hunt or in clean, comfortable, area motels that cater to hunters and their dogs. Your meals are exceptional; Dave has spent years scouting out the best area restaurants.  Dave intentionally leaves his prices off of the website so that he can give you all of the details of the trip first hand and customize the hunt to your needs.  Unlike many rumors crossing the Canadian border with your shotgun and dogs is not a problem.
